Meet the Team
General Manager/Chief Executive
"I'm rapt to be a part of ADNZT; our team of amazing staff produce incredible dogs that assist New Zealanders to engage with their community and the wider world on their own terms. Our dogs remove barriers, and our staff support the process of independence, diversity and inclusion in communities throughout Aotearoa. I'm humbled by the amazing work our team does on a daily basis."
I love the variety in my role, the people I work with and the people we work to help. . . .the dogs also play a major part.
Puppy Development and
Dog Training Manager
I love my job as no 2 days are the same – 1 day cuddling newborn puppies, the next working with dogs about to go out and change someone’s world for the better. ADNZT is an amazing organisation to be part of, everyone is truly invested for a better life for all.
Puppy Development Supervisor
I love the hands-on involvement my role gets with our adorable puppies, as well as working with our amazing volunteers who commit so much time and love to give their pups the best chance of success.
I am so excited to be a part of a passionate team and look forward to training and matching my dogs so they can go on and have a positive impact on people’s lives.
I enjoy the variety of my role and love being part of a small, dedicated team of both two and four-legged members. It is so rewarding to see the differences that an Assistance Dog can make to our clients and their families.
I have been involved with ADNZT since 2013 and enjoy being part of a great team. I love working with our clients and our dogs. It is so rewarding and emotional to watch all the new experiences each individual family encounters when they receive their dog.
I love working with and training dogs, they are amazing animals. It's also wonderful to see how the dogs we train have made such a positive impact on the families they are placed with.
I love how much creativity our small and passionate team has to muster to achieve our mission. I also love the excitement and enthusiasm our supporters have for our dogs and clients - helping them make real change is a very cool part of the job.
Kendra van der Linden
It’s so wonderful to be part of this life-changing organisation, and to be in a role that enables others to join our mission too. The people, the success stories and the dogs all make this role such a special one for me.
Finance Coordinator and Administrator
I love that I contribute to helping improve the lives of individuals and families who are facing daily challenges.
